Nausicaa is placed in the heart of Patti where the typical and friendly Sicilian atmosphere with the life of fashionable premises for all the tastes can be appreciated.
And it's the perfect place to further improve your knowledge of Italian with the help of the friendly local residents. Nausicaa was foundet in 1999 in Pizzo Calabro. After a sussessful decade of hosting and teaching students in Calabria, Nausicaa will now embark on a new endeavour and reopen its centre in Patti, a charming village at the Saracena coast, 10 km from the antic city of Tindari.
Nausicaa is known for its personal atmosphere, therefore, the total number of participants is limited to 10. The school is well equipped with modern facilities and excellent teaching material.
The number of participants is restricted to a maximum of 5 people per course, to create the opportunity for intensive, personally applicable courses. Homogenous classes also play a part in effective learning.
In order to be placed at the appropriate level, all students, except absolute beginners, sit a written and oral test at the beginning of the language course.
The goal of the teaching is to promote the use of language, consolidate grammatical structures and offer an insight into the culture and everyday life of the Italians. The classroom language is Italian.
